About me

Zaynab Ikaz Kassim is a visionary entrepreneur, leadership strategist, and social impact advocate passionate about nation-building, women’s empowerment, and community transformation.


She is the founder of Tahzan Ventures, a dynamic group with businesses spanning across interior design, smart home automation, event planning, home essentials, and media production. Through these ventures, Zaynab has curated experiences, spaces, and solutions that blend functionality with elegance.


With a strong background in governance, Zaynab served as Special Assistant to the Immediate Past President of Nigeria and later contested for a seat in the House of Representatives for Etsako West Constituency. She continues to be a strong voice for women in leadership and co-convenes the Coalition of Professional Women in Politics.


Her deep commitment to social change led her to establish two nonprofit platforms:

        Safe Haven: Sustaining Sisterhood, a mentorship and empowerment movement for women and young girls

        CASAF (Child Aid and Sponsorship Awareness Foundation), which advocates for children’s education, health, and safety


Zaynab is the author of Gratitude: 365 Days of Reflection, Lessons & Growth, a deeply personal and inspiring book encouraging intentional living and gratitude.


She holds a degree in International Relations and an MBA in Human Resource Management from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. Zaynab is a sought-after speaker, mentor, and consultant, known for her bold leadership, heart-led impact, and commitment to excellence.
